At Broomfield Auto, we think of an oil change service as more than just a time to change your oil and filter. We believe these visits (which should be 3 to 4 times per year) are important "check-ups" to verify vehicle maintenance is up to date and that your vehicle is not developing any problems. By doing this, we hope to reduce the number of emergency repairs and increase the life of your vehicle.
Your vehicle is always serviced by an experienced full automotive mechanic.
We inspect your tires for wear and inflation and if necessary, rotate your tires....regardless of brand or where they were purchased. This saves you time and money by extending the life of your tires and preventing you from having to make a separate trip for tire rotation. Some vehicles with special wheels may be excluded. Please locate your wheel lock key prior to service if equipped.
Unlike many quick lube shops, we thoroughly inspect your basic brake system for any signs of wear or problems. This will often save you money by catching routine repairs that are needed before they turn into more expensive repairs.
Unlike many shops, we don't charge extra for refilling your fluids unless your car uses a special non-standard fluid. An example would be a European car with special power steering fluid or coolant.

When servicing vehicles that were previously serviced elsewhere, we often find overtighted drainplugs that have resulted in damage to the threads on the plug, or even worse, to the oil pan itself. We inspect the drainplug for damage and install new gaskets if needed so that proper torque is sufficient to prevent leaks...usually 10-20 ft.-lbs.
